Pure Blue Japan (PBJ)

I picked up a pair of PBJ XX-007 14oz last week.
My first pair of PBJ and was pleasantly surprised by how much character the denim has. Quite rough with lots of little bumps throughout and feels heavier than 14oz. Pretty happy with how they fit.

^^ @Hereforthebeer looks GREAT hey what camera are you using (Phone??) the pics really captured the texture and id love to show that off on mine better but in my pics its not picking up the detail and comes out looking flat

About a week of wear now and turned into a perfect fit. Really got super comfortable in the thighs and the waist is still a tad big but the top block fits great so belt it and forget it. I am beyond happy with these jeans and can't wait to beat them up [emoji16]

Before I'm about to lose my briefly gained capability to post pics, here's my XX-005s, obtained from @Snowy, who was (as we all know him) so very helpful in getting them to me bypassing my bête noir, which is Berlin customs. They have become one of my very favourite jeans, second skin fit while totally comfy and feeling so great. They are fast becoming a crotch repair case, first steps having been taken towards that…

I saw these PBJ X015 in person when @dylantbmayes 's brother visited us recently. He picked them up only a year ago and has pretty much trashed them. The X015 is a cigarette slim fit using the 14 oz indigo denim (X013/x005)

I am looking for a pair of slubby denim that meets the following criteria..

1. Medium rise, waist size 30 with 12.5 inches of room in the thighs

2. Preferably black denim with zip fly

3. Poly cotton stitching would be nice as well.

Any jeans by PBJ or Oni that meet these criteria?
