Is the sizing of this 25 oz-beast comparable to the 666S or should I keep something in mind??

Wash. Also, you are officially allowed to retire this pair and get a another pair.

I never thought I'd wear them again….then I had them repaired....they have a bit of life left in them,  the journey goes on. I washed them !

        Who "officially" allowed this…..scandalous!  😉
Well, the washing's done, can't help it. Retiring is deffo no option though. As Haddtoo knows, I want them if and when he's at the point of parting with them!

Keep your jeans on–-and let nothing come in between you and the denim !

Color is a little off, the indigo is a bit darker still. All in all not a bad rep of their current state

These pics remind me of the main reason stacking beats cuffing:  Cuffing results in long cuts in the fabric where it brushes the top of the boot.

I agree. I kinda like the looks of cuffing, but it seems to always happen. However, sometimes it happens even when you stack:

                        Hello All,

Been a long time fan of Iron Heart and have a number of their incredible shirts.  Finally pulled the trigger and bought a pair of their jeans.  Figured there is no better way to start my collection than with some 666XHS.  I've worn 22 oz. denim in the past but these are a whole other world.  Excited and terrified at the same time.

Currently sitting on my couch buttoning and unbuttoning them trying to get the fly broke in a bit.  I can't tell if my fingers are blue primarily from indigo or from bruising.  I'm going to guess a bit of both.

Anyway.  Excited to contribute more to these scholarly forums soon.

                        Cheers.

@Giles  I'm scouring this thread for answers, but it is over 200 pages. Am I right in thinking this doesn't stretch as much as the 21oz? And the shrinkage stated on the shop page, can you suggest how much that would be? An inch for tagsize 36?

                            And welcome @BloodnThunder  😉

So after a hot soak and a few months of wear you might end up at around 37" on the tagged 36? I hate it when jawns get too big. And I suspect the 35 would have been perfect.

That's a great idea. They were a planned autumn purchase, hence the restock query now. But I'll hit them up and see what they have.
