Update from Haraki.  They are going to remove the embroidery on a jacket in Hachioji tomorrow to see if OK.  So, we may have the best of both worlds, with or without….G

Would ity be easy to remove the small Iron Heart tag on the pocket?
Emroidery is cool, IMO just a bit much with both on there (i.e. would look good with one or the other).

No, that is applied with some constructional stitching…...

GREAT NEWS.

I can remove the embroidery with zero damage to the Melton.  You would not even know it had ever been embroidered.  So you can choose with or without…..G

Holy cow these are beautiful… I never really looked much into these, but my word that's a nice jacket... Even if I needed the jacket (I don't) or had the money (I don't), I wouldn't be able to choose between red and grey...

Love these.  They remind me of the classic Woolrich Jackets quite a lot but with that extra heavy duty charm of IH.

Got my wool cpo jacket today in grey/black size medium. Fit is the most perfect I've experienced with perfect lengthed sleeves, perfect torso length, perfect chest/torso fit. Very pleased
