The wife did say the thinks my BBs are the best fit on me. when I asked why she said:

"I dunno, they just look like a man's pair of jeans"

I wonder what that says about my 3sixteen 32BSPs…

These are now officially on the list.

          Giles,

Is the denim on these the same as on the 1955-UHR, just darker in tone?

Also, if I'm a 34 in the 1955-UHR (waist is pretty tight, the rest is very loose), should I go 34 or 36 on these?

          Thanks.
          John

Same denim - exactly the same denim.  Must be bad photography…

            I'd go 36.....

              Thanks Giles.

36 because the 34 waist might be small or the hips/thighs?  Or both?

Giles, could you do a 33 after a soak / wash or would you need to size up?

                    I could, but I'd prefer 34…..

After a lukewarm ~4 hour soak/30° C wash they were perfect in size but stretched out almost back to the raw-measurements. The only noticeable shrinkage was the inseam (1,18 inches loss). No leg-twist/skewing. Will a really hot soak shrink them permanently since they are too big in the raw-state?

Today I received a IHxB01-UHR in size 34. I hope the Buster cut works for me. In the raw unsoaked state it feels a little wide in the legs, but that may be because I'm used to the 666LB and the 461S, which both have tighter legs.

Right now it is in the bathtub for a 30° soak.

And after that it will definetly need to be hemmed I guess. I'm not so much into cuffs or double cuffs.

                            Meassurements before the soak:

                            Waist: 88 cm
                            Front rise: 30 cm
                            Rear rise: 39 cm
                            Tights: 31,5 cm
                            Knee: 23 cm
                            Hem: 22 cm
                            Inseam: 94 cm

Pre soak fit looks good.. I've got my requested fit after two hot soaks and a 30 Degrees Wash in the washing machine..

                                @Cole - those looks really good pre-soak

My 666 UHR were a lot looser than that pre-soak and slimmed up a lot in the legs after a few soaks and washes.

The first ~4 hour soak/30° C wash didn't do much to mine, they softened up and stretched back immediately to their raw-measurements. After another really really hot 1 hour soak they shrank a bit and feel definitely more like 23 oz now. I hope they don't stretch back. And the UHR-denim is simply amazing.

^ it took me 3 soaks + washes to get mine to give in. 1 cold soak and cold wash/no spin - second hot soak + warmish wash/no spin - then finally a 2 hour super hot soak and a hot wash on the "towels" setting for max agitation.

Pre soak and pre wash I though it was doable to break it in without to much trouble, but post soak and post wash (40° C) it feels as stiff as cardboard or thin wood. This is going to get interesting. I think I'm a little afraid.  😢
