You will need to get the underground to London Waterloo. Best route from either to get to waterloo are imo:

• from paddington get the bakerloo line straight to waterloo

• from kings cross get the piccadilly line to piccadilly circus then change at piccadilly circus and get the bakerloo line to waterloo

The train goes from Waterloo to Portsmouth and then you get the ferry to Gosport (ferry is to the left of the exit at Portsmouth). If you book train ticket in advance you can get it for cheaper.

There might be a direct train straight from Paddington but not too my knowledge

Very much hoping I can make it, but really don't know whether my new job (as and when I get one, still looking) will allow me the time. Sounds like there will be quite a crowd [emoji3]

Just heard the P1 Power Boats are racing at Stokes Bay, Gosport this same weekend - which will be great fun to watch - but does mean accommodation will get scarce.  Book now to avoid disappointment (and let me know if you need any help!)

Yes, we have some plans afoot, will be announced as soon as firmed up - probably late May.  But we have some great, fun ideas (Mega's home brew permitting).

In terms of timings, the Saturday event will start around 2pm and finish when it ends.
