Where does the Devil's Fit / 666 get its name from? I don't know if it's already been asked / answered.

Is the 666S really selling that quickly? I remember you had four W36 after the restock, now you have zero in stock… amazing.

                    They were taken yesterday.
The jeans got 400 days of wear. I am very happy with them. They got quite alot of life left in them.

Regular poster over at SuFu, but been lurking here a little bit and doing a little research and I think I've decided that the 666s will be my next jean once my Ande Whall Caribous get a little further in age. The two cuts are very similar. Sounds kinda crazy to be thinking of getting some heavy denim with Summer around the corner in California, but I work in produce at a Whole Foods and we're in a near freezing cooler a lot.

I wear a 30 in the Andes, but the waist measured 31 initially and has stretched to 31.5, so I think a 31 in the 666 would be the size that would most replicate the way they fit, but with a better fitting top block since the 666 has a bit less rise in the front. That is definitely welcome since my Andes seem to have a little too much with how they sit on my hips.

Thanks Giles, wasn't sure if they would still qualify for Middleweight class  in the DWC.

cool, thanks. i'll have to double check the thigh measurement of my current jeans with the IH way of measuring. my true waist size is around 30.5, but i don't want a super slim fit with the 30s and the suffering that comes with it. it's a shame there's such a huge step up in waist size between the 30 and 31. my current jeans being 31.5 are already pushing it when it comes to looseness. not a terrible thing as long as the rest of the jeans fit well, since i always wear a belt anyway.

My best fitting jeans are a 32 to 33ish waist (depending on when I washed them) and about a 11.75 thigh.

I'm torn whether to order a size 32 or 33.

As I figure the tag size 32 will stretch out to 33 inches in the waist with wear.  Will the thighs stretch back out to pre-soak measurements of 11.9?

Does the 666 stretch back out to pre soak measurements with wear?  If it does it will fit great for me.

I think if I go with 33 it will stretch out too far with wear.

                                    Anyone have any advice?

                                      Yes, the website does:

NOTE: will shrink approx 1" in the waist and approx 2" in the inseam. BUT with wear will stretch back out to pre soak size in the waist

But note only those areas under any stress will stretch, so the inseam and the cuff won't

I will go with a tag size 32, shrink it down a bit with presoak and stretch it out to a 32.5 with wear hopefully.

Does this denim have a lot of stretch to it?

                                        Thanks Giles

"A lot" is a bit subjective.

It stretches back to pre-soak size easily, though you can get more if you try hard/put on weight slowly…
