i didn't size up and i a really glad with the outcome.
they were quite comfortable from the start and the waist did stretch a fair amount.
normally 36,5 would be the slimmest waist i could do but mine turned out to be 36.1 inch befor soaking.
they are now "spot on" post-soak.

They were stiff and crispy, but yielded really quick. I've used them for a day or so and they're already somewhat comfortable (also due to the fit, which is super nice).

Finally got around to soaking mine this eve, had to jerry rig some sort of hanging device to let them dry.

Forty mins, warm/hot soak. The water went a magnificent shade of "fuck me dont let the wife see this green"…...
