@Megatron1505 last night while I was using a pair of pliers to get the top button buttoned I thought "what the hell am I doing with my life?!"

Ok, so I got the jeans on (finally) and went out to take the dog a walk in them to have a feel of the fit, a few quick notes and initial impressions….

        • The denim in INCREDIBLE, soft hand but stiff, lots of colour depth and you just know that it was made to fade.
        • Through the leg they fit better than any other jeans I have ever owned, period.
        • The top block is insanely tight at the moment, if I get a bit of stretch in the waist and upper thighs I will be the happiest man alive.
        • Conversely if I don't, there is no way I'll be able to wear these for 2 years without dropping weight.
        • I will drop weight for these as I love them that much.

I was going to wear my 25oz Samurai's for the contest, but the fit on these will be so good when I've dropped a few pounds that I'm going to choose these.

Pics as soon as I find a photographer.....

@superfuzz , I completely understand and feel your pain…..like actual pain I have lost a lot of skin on my thumb with these bastards.

Personally I think the fit of these is much better than the MBB's (I know that is a subjective comment), they just feel much more fitted through the leg without being jeggings.

@Megatron1505 This is my first pair of Busters. I'd been thinking about getting a pair of the 21oz because I love that denim and I'm not that into the 301s that I have, but then I heard these were coming out and decided to get on the pre-order. I couldn't be happier with the fit. As long as the waist stretches out and doesn't shrink too much with further washes it should be just the kind of slim straight fit that I like.

And judging from the sizing on the IH site the MBB would never work for me. To get the waist bearable the legs would be huge on me.

I think in a few days time, with a bit of wear, these should be perfect….but I'm going to have to suffer a little for my art  😉

Glad you're wearing these in the contest, Mega. I look forward to seeing how they age. I'll be posting updates in this thread.

I can't get over how great these feel after only 2.5 days. I didn't start skin tight by any means, just not my thing, but they were still quite the chore to button the first couple times. I reckon you'll be pleased with your decision, Mega. Now people need to buy the rest of my size in these because they are seriously that great and even though I know I shouldn't and there is really no way to justify it, I still haven't ruled out grabbing another pair.

I was thinking of trying the 38 to get a thigh measurement that fits…and then put them in the machine and dryer to see how much the waist will shrink as it is too big. I like the higher rise on these. Any idea how much in the waist this might shrink?

I didn't measure mine pre wash, but they were measured at IH as 37.5". I followed the soak and wash instructions included and they came out at a hair over 35".

Been wearing them a couple of hours now and they are already a little comfier, plus I just managed to button them in less than a minute.

I have my doubts about you being comfortable in the waist and top block over the long haul. I don't have the fortitude to do what you are attempting….but you might get a great result. Cheers

Honestly mate I think they'll be fine, I've been through enough raw denim to know when to wave the white flag and when to persevere.

I'll wear them for a couple of days and report back on how they stretch out, if they do go back to tagged size as described they might even be a little loose.
