Another point is the indigo-bleeding which I'm not a fan of at all. After ~ 2 washes it's almost gone.

Go for the 777, @FilthyBloodJunkie, they have nearly the same fit but a better fitting top-block. The awesome 21 oz denim is the same.

Thanks. But I kind of like the top block on the 555,and the navy arcs, hence why I wanted them over the 777.

I liked the stealth-arcs as well but had to sell my 555-01 because it became way too big in the top (the diaper butt got only bigger). I'm still mesmerzied by the denim though.

Doubtful. That fabric was what was made before the loom broke. The loombreakers broke the loom, so more selvedge duck for you. Although I suspect a 555 fit in duck could be re-named The Ballbreaker….

Hi, this is my first post so please excuse me if I say/do anything wrong. I was just wondering what the details on these jeans were like? Things like stitches per inch (STI), different materials used for the jeans, physical features, etc. Basically I'm asking to what extent these are "over-engineered". Thanks
