IHWE-FP2 - Iron Heart Int'l x Wesco® - 7" Brown Rough-Out Boot

These boots are now 10KM's (6Miles) from my house at the UPS collection centre, prior to delivery attempt. It's Good Friday. so UPS is closed. Next time they are open is Tuesday next week, when they will be delivered to me at work. 4 days off, boots 10K's away, and can't do anything. Funny how these things go sometimes.

Ha! I have broken into DHL's old building before. Am filling my weekend in other ways ::) (and will be calling them first thing tomorrow, just to confirm they meant closed all of easter, not just closed on easter friday)

Got a human on the phone this morning….short of flying a plane load of cargo to the warehouse, it's closed.

Okay, so they are here (and on my feet!). I know 1/2 a size smaller would have been too small in length/width for my larger foot. Still trying to work out if I've nailed the fit or not.

Thoughts on them;
1)They are light; just what I was after!
2)Stitching is perfect
3)The Rough-Out is beautiful
4)Speed hooks are spot on
5)Impressed!

Will try get some pictures up on the weekend. 11pm local time, trying to figure out what to do whilst walking up and down a small carpeted room not the easiest ::)

Worn indoors all week, felt like I'd sized right.

Wore outside today for the first time. On the feet for 9 hours, 10.5KMs, no blisters, no heal slip, still felt light as a breeze, they're a keeper!

Same experience with my FP1's … never had so comfortably "new" boots --- outstanding!

I believe the size is pretty spot on after initially trying them. Amnesty wear number one will be tomorrow.

Nice capturing of the extra packaging. The little Iron Heart bag, is such a little lovely attention to detail detail, as are the stickers. It'd been at least a few months since my last IH order, and is great to see even more meaningful details being included. So good.

PS I can't believe we're wearing the same shoes @summ3rhays. Your last comp boots are some of my fav

Thanks @Finkster. Amazing how such quality boots skip any break in, really unexpected after RoadChamp and Viberg experiences.

I've had them back on today and they still feel great, that's the pudding of the proof IMO!

Maybe it´s the soft waxed leather, my WESCO boots with the standard black needed some break in time. But my next pair is ordered in Black Tie Domain, lets see how they feel and if they need a break-in-time

My "modified packers" in black domain also had zero break in time…first time I've ever experienced that from a top quality boot also, my Vibergs were a frikkin nightmare.
