The question should be "why" but I have a feeling the answer is something along the lines of "why not."

I can on the way to Heathrow.  This time our luggage includes 3 cartons Wesco boots, 18 pairs in total…....Wonder what the check in staff will have to say.....

                  Here's my guess:
                  Figure 2.5 kilos/pair, 18 pairs= 45 kilos for the Wesco gear alone.

The boots were 120lbs on their own.  We travel enough to be allowed 3 pieces of luggage each at 32kg per case.  So in theory we could do 192kg (423lbs) plus hand baggage….Paula tries to make sure we are close to that every time we travel 🙂

Good choice, on a separate note don't bin your old one as I have the Macbook repair guide and a full Mac tool kit I'd be happy to have a go at resurrecting it for you. I've stripped down both mine and Pam's MacBooks a number of times for repairs and modifications.

You do understand the problem with this sentence, right?.. That's like a mechanic saying "Right I think I've got it, otherwise just pop back in, and I'll have another go at it…"

I hope the transfer went well? This reminds me of how I lost more than 80 GB of datas many years ago before I could even make a backup :(… Nobody should experience those feelings. Hardware sucks sometimes though...
