But yeah: I apparently never read that magazine... I was more into bands that got interviewed in black & white, xeroxed, cut 'n paste style zines without ads

Not really true. After a Football Game they walked through the city and they ended up on a right wing Demo, because the cops blocked everything and there was No Way out.
