Very nice, @Black Orchid. I'm already itching to try one of their slimmer styles with a smaller leg opening. Your pics aren't helping…or they ARE, depending on perspective. Lol

Go for it @sabergirl… I noticed that you spin and I run and work out so we both have butts and good thighs and these are amazing which as you know is hard to come by in quality denim..I just wish I could find the model number for you.

Haha yeah! "Good thighs" is a nice way of putting it. I certainly have a hard time finding cuts that fit, though. Thigh measurement must be over 13", or it's a no-go. Most of the time I have to size up in the waist to be able to squeeze into slim cuts. Women's jeans are always out, first because of inseam, but also because whoever designs them thinks no female has thighs over 11.5"?! Puhleeze.

Sorry for the rant. Maybe I'll make it back to self edge or BiG one day to try on some new cuts.

tell me about it @Snowy !!! ive been cycling since i was a wee nipper and certain cuts are out of the question for me 😞
however, i've swapped cycling for running and my thighs are changing and i can, just about, squeeze into my IH-555's.

I've always wanted to get a top from PBJ, like a button-up or a jacket. But the problem I have seem to be all over the place. Maybe their fits just aren't meant for me (unlike IH).

Arms almost always too long, shoulders WAY too narrow. Their tops seem designed for lanky, skinny, tall-ish (at least not stocky-ish) folks for whatever reason. I've not seen anything with broad enough shoulders. And if I size up to the correct shoulder width, the chest becomes oversized and sleeves way too long. Just seems like lose/lose/lose without any hope.

I am tempted to pick up the deep indigo 14oz. jeans though, those look pretty spot on (the straight cut).

sorry, it's a sugarcane work shirt from a few years back.  I do love it.

images of my no change PBJs. . . .  funny thing is they remind me of Iron Heart overdye denim:

just randoms & a few images next to a pair of 9301s so you can see them next to denim that really doesn't change with out crazy work.

Hi everyone I'm looking into getting my first pair of pbj and I'm looking into the 015's in 18oz at big i tried on a 33 and 34 one wash and the 34 fit perfect below the waist but the waist was quite roomy, on the 33's the waist was almost perfect maybe a half an inch or so off but the rest fit a little more snug than I'm used to. My question is what to do ? do i go with the 33s hoping for stretch? ( please if anyone knows what to expect as far as stretch goes chime in) do i deal with the larger waist of the 34? or do i try a 33 non-washed and do a warm soak while wearing and hope for the best? please any help in coming to my decision would be more tun greatly appreciated.

OH and BTW my normal waist size is 33, Thanks again

I've found that my PBJ 015 have stretched a fair bit. My advice would be go for the snugger fit. I've ended up giving mine a couple of hot soaks but it hasn't really made that much difference. I'm currently wearing them with a belt. I'm contemplating a hot machine wash and the tumble dryer treatment. What I would say is the denim and the quality of the craftsmanship are amazing. I'm a sucker for chatter/slub/nep/texture. I'm also a 32/33 waist and given the choice again I'd deffo go for a 32. I'm no expert by any means but I own a pair of 015s and I'm similar size to yourself, so thought I'd pipe up.

Not as much as the waist but a reasonable amount on mine, like I said with the benefit of hindsight I'd go for a size smaller than I got.
