You really ask?
Well…
First things first: not as heavy as expected, it´s a good thing!!! Construction is solid, leather feels and smells great, even the laces are next level. Welt stitching is ÜBER clean.About the fit: I was feckin nervous and paranoid, but it was easiest putting on/off ever and they dont hurt. E width is wonderful and the 8.5 length is prefect/roomy too.
Top notch.
Lets see how the leather soften up.
The IH stamped leather insoles only come with IHxWE stock boots?

Custom? What are the specs? I've wanted a similar make up for awhile but with a black sole.
Burlap and black sole is a good combo.

Doesn't WESCO usually have a curved heel (mine do, packers and boss)? JCM's look like they have a block heel. I like it, but I don't recall seeing this as an option… Congrats on your new boots.

That's good to know, but I think I'm queer for curved heels - never knew there was such a thing until I found out about White's and then WESCO!
This is primarily Red Wing country - I stick out like a sore thumb. -
Heels with only one lift will always be sanded straight:)

My packmaster were cool with thinner socks, but pretty tight with REAL socks like my L&L socks. I picked em up from a cobbler right now, he stretched em and now they are ready to bust some sneakers.

I had the opposite problem: mine were pretty long for my feet, so I had to tie them up real tight. After I ordered the boots, Wesco switched from Poron insoles to leather. I find leather insoles for boots to be uncomfortable after several hours of wear (high arches, flat last), so I popped in a Spenco insole and it made them fit better and feel more comfortable. Ugh I swear I'll get my pics up later today.
Also, who's ordered a pair of the Romeos yet? I'm kind of digging them. Plus you can get them on the MP last! I can't find any images of people actually wearing them, so I can't decide if they'd look ridiculous on a foot.
I'd love for Wesco to do a Chelsea boot tho. Giles, do you have secret intel that they're going to offer one at some point??
