Well being that my chest size is generally 34-36 and my shoulders are about 17.5 width,  would I be better off looking for an XS? or would that possibly be too small, especially in the shoulders? I remember trying on my friends Hickory in S and that it fit decently, albeit slightly roomy.

Depends on how you want it tp fit innit?.. Cause it fits like the IHSH-07 (hickory)… So S 'd still be roomy, and XS 'd be tight/ fitted...

Ah I see. I wouldn't mind it be fitted cause I assume it will stretch to form after many wears, but the small shoulders are something of concern.

I grabbed a Sugar Cane version of this shirt recently off of ebay… though its work shirt style piece It has the hairline hickory and black buttons and all that. Lighter weight shirt... am interested in comparing the two. Both will definitely have their place in my wardrobe

I'm in the same boat..I'm about 17'' in the shoulders with a 36 chest. Would you be able to get the XS measurements, G?
