It might be interesting to have some contributions/interviews from Haraki, Giles etc and also some pics of the factories/processes etc. to satisfy mega geeks/gimps such as myself!

I agree, it would be nice to have some informations about the brand, the participating People and so on.

Not sure about this one - should it feature high quality pictures where possible?! This might add to the complexity of creating the book, but that's, IMO, the main purpose of it. I want to have something nice to look at and not see just blurry blown up cellphone shots - it's against the original purpose of creating a printed Version. But if we use the Forums and Posts from a few years back, there might just be a lack of quality in Resolution and picture quality.

IMO It HAS to be proper quality photos.  Otherwise it's just a scrappy scrap book…

I printed a 72 page magazine DPI/quality, archival grade thick paper hard cover book, 1 off, using adoramapix recently, cost me $150USD. (size is 8x12)

Totally in but think we should look at realistics of printing before going too far down the line..

One of my best mates is a screen printer based in london. I can always ask the question…...

Me personally, i would like to see something thats well produced and of a high standard generally....... But i appreciate the fact that not everyone likes to spend big money on books.

Totally agree about quality images, no cell phone snaps or hipstatics.

For me the real concept here is the people and the brand. We have 3000 forum members here, the brand travels the world meeting armies of enthusiasts and the expansion and development has been nothing short of staggering.

The story is the people, those who founded the brand, those who developed the brand and those who have made it such a part of their lives. Think of it as an expansion of "My Favourite Rugged Wear" with additions. The book should tell the story of the brand and the people who love it, and it should absolutely be a high quality item.

Definitely time for IH to step up to coffee table status.  Great idea Mega (though I myself am far too shy to appear).

Better to have an idea of the costs (photography, printing, shipping, etc.) before everyone gets too excited.
