• … Which turns out to have the instruction "spend no more than twelve hours on this" in it...

I had an interview with another company today, so it's not all bad news. I'm not actually feeling much love for coding right now, and am thinking of going my own way.

This will lead to poverty, misery and rickets! Might be fun though.
