Grooming and Hygiene

Those fuckers are clearly not bald. Bald men need to moisturise in winter, otherwise the scalp gets dry.

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again…

Hahaha. So Buffalo Bill was just trying to moisturize his victims… So he could wear moist, non ashy flesh.
Everyone gets ashy. I should be better about lubing up myself.

Ok, after sorting the facial hair, not really digging what this stuff is doing for the hair on my head. So looking for a pomade now and there's a plethora to choose from. Suggestions? Wearing a slick down fade and my hair is a bit unruly if it helps
In Terms of smell, IMO nothing beats the blue Sweet Georgia. Murrays has pretty much the best hold, maybe that's better for your unruly hair. Black & White is also nice (smells great), but makes the hair look pretty greasy / wet. If you like that look - try that one. Best Price Ration as well.

Thanks Max…guess I could've laid it out better. What I'm using is wax based and hard to get out, just not enough oils to balance. My hair isn't so unruly that I need super heavy hold. I do like a little shine, but not so much that I can grease paint with it. I guess a solid medium to firm hold, mid shine, that doesn't require half a jar/can applied is what I'm after. If it smells good is a bonus, but that's kinda subjective

Then I'd go with (maybe both) Sweet Georgias. The smell and application is great. It holds good, but is not super hard and can be washed out a lot better than Murrays or Black & White.

It's soft so works by Hand.

Dax Awesome Hold/Shine is great, it´s my fav Pomade right now

Nice write up Trick! Ive been using (dont get mad lol) American Crew "fibre" and for the dew i go for it works great. Not a slick or a hard hold but a matte and flexible hold. May have to try one of the ones you suggested for my winter hair cut (semi slick back). Hair still looks good when i take off my toque this way

American Crew has a salon line called d:fi and I've been using their d:struct for years and years. It's also a high hold, low-shine product, but it's a cream instead of a putty and it can be used on longer hair. While most people use it on dry hair, I've found you can get an even more matte look by applying it when towel-dry, letting it dry naturally, and running your fingers through it to get rid of the wet look. It also responds well to blow drying if that's your thing.

@TrickHell nice piece! As stated, been using a beeswax based goop, but not really getting what I want out of it. The Sweet Georgia Brown is likely my next go, as it's more of a grease and aside from Max, has pretty positive reviews for what I'm searching. May search up some Murray's and Royal Crown for a side by side though. Really appreciate everyone's input here

You have the RC Hair Dressing, you should try the RC Mens Pomade, the smell is a little lighter, but the hold and texture is awesome!
