IRON HEART HIKE 2015

@trail and arrow , what a wicked idea to take the IRON HEART HIKE 2015 to Snowdonia and to tackle the Snowdon Horseshoe, which includes Crib Goch, see the video above !!!!!
The great thing is that the summit of Snowdon can also be reached via the Pyg Track and/or the Miners Track.
So we would have two different choices;1. The hardy route which is, at all times, walking along ridge lines; The Snowdon Horseshoe
2. The less hardy route; Pyg Track/Miners Track accent & Miners Track/Pyg Track descent
We could all pile into the YHA hostels; Bryn Gwynant and Pen-y-Pass.

If there was sufficient interest and taking the IH Hike 2015 to Snowdonia, and people wanted to do the hike back to back with the Fish & Chip event, this could work.
The Snowdon Horseshoe and Pyg Track/Miners Track ascent/descent (or train) is a one day affair. However, the horseshoe takes around 7 hours of hard graft and heart in the mouth action.
In my opinion, it would be wise to drive to Snowdonia from Gosport followed by beers, over night sleep, then the ascent/descent of Snowdon followed by either; food, beers, overnight sleep or drive back to Gosport after the ascent/descent.

There is a faint murmuring of following Fish'n'Chips 2015 Gosport with IH HIKE 2015 in Snowdonia.

In theory this venture could run; Fish'n'Chips 2015 11th & 12th July, straight into IH HIKE 2015 in Snowdonia 13th & 14th? July 2015.
I am mad keen on the idea however, in order for ideas to turn to action support and commitment is needed. So who's interested in "Fish'n'Chips 2015 Gosport back2back IH HIKE 2015 in Snowdonia"?

I'd just go ahead and plan what makes sense for you guys. Mine and Haraki's schedules for 2015 are ridiculous.
F 'n' C is when it is, as some retailers will be in Berlin for whatever goes on then anyway.
You'll have more people in UK in and around F 'n' C than any other time of year.

Thanks G for clarification and, should the IH HIKE 2015 come off immediately before or after F'n'C, it'll be a shame that you and other crew members can't attend.
