Papa Nui

JCM, the bag is nicely made and measures about 14.5" wide and 15" long. I forgot to measure the strap but for a man of my height, it is a single shoulder bag. I was able to get one from the papa without issue. Shipping took about a week.

Looks like the perfect bag for record (12"x12") shopping

Wow, the knit is tight and so cozy. Pretty heavy for a cap, fits great!

Nice, I just noticed on the Papa shopify site he has overdyed Corsairs. Very tempting…

Took delivery of the Convoy on Monday.
Superb hat. Faultless construction, impeccable quality and perfect fit.
I'm a battalion man now.

My RMC Type A4 watchcap weights ca. 70g, the Papa Nui convoy cap is ca. 130g pure Merino wool coziness.

@Chiba:
What's the catalina?
Giles is jumping the gun here crew, so I'll add some scuttlebutt to clarify. The new summer season will bring an updated version of the Corsairs cap with minor modifications to the styling but in two new concepts. The Catalina is a salute to naval fly boys and is imagined in a mid weight Japanese indigo denim with life raft yellow detailing under brim and the second of these new caps is the Avenger, again a modified Corsairs but this time in olive drab HBT with billiard green under brim. Both caps are being sampled at present in John Lofgren's factory in Japan under his ever watchful eye! John also has another of the Papa's ideas to work on at present and that's a total rebuild of the Combat beach battalion hat. This time around the Papa has redefined the shape and after a strenuous workout through this Australian summer has concluded that the new 'Beachmaster' will be the ultimate piece for your beach kit. At this stage the Beachmaster will most likely be concieved in olive drab HBT and a camo version not yet decided.
Hope this helps to give you an idea of what's in the pipeline and to elaborate a little more on Giles revelations. Giles and I are in the very early stages of what we both hope will be a very fruitful arrangement allowing us to bring the Papa's product line off the Atoll and over to Ol' Blighty and across to the Continent.
