Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster here. Just received and soaked my pair from @Andreas1965. I'd say this is a really awesome pair! Love the leather triangle and how the whole jeans fit perfectly into my body. More like a slimmer version of 634S! Can't be happier

But at the same time, there are other things coming out in 18oz. raw…

@NorthernVictory depends what you value, you can get the vulcans for an incredibly awesome deal, or wait for the 18oz to come out then pass of the vulcans.
I don't know man, because you never know if the 18oz will be extant, but these guys are nearly gone forever

@KrisB thanks man! Will surely do. These fit better than my Busters and i actually love this fabric more than the 21oz. I am a sucker for the raws.
@NorthernVictory i would absolutely recommend you to pick these bad boys up if your size is still available. They are one of a kind. Haven't taken my pair off since they were finished through soaking.

I already have the Vulcans, in 30, and it's the best fitting IH jean I have. Hence why I'm tempted to pick up another.

ta very much,,damn fine pair of jeans,, like the leather pocket protector,,and the extra sewn in back pocket storage type thingys.All in all well impressed,,didnt think a 31 leg would work for me,,but it does,, -
I've had my Vulcans for about three months now. They are my go-to pair for most activities (school/work, traveling, etc.), but I do rotate them and I don't wear jeans when inside my own home.
I'm thinking about giving them a soak, but I haven't seen any fading yet. The material still looks very new and they still feel a bit stiff. This is my first unsanforized denim, so I'm not sure if they're suppose to become drastically softer at a later date (I assume they will simply by virtue of a fabric's molecular composition).
I've been doing a lot of cycling lately, and I'm worried if I don't give them a soak at least then the strength of the fabric may be at risk. I'm curious as to what some more experienced members think about this?
