grabby22, I think you'll be fine with those. Left hand twill doesn't usually shrink as much as right hand twill and should stretch back where it needs to without too much effort. This is borne out by the detail on the Self Edge description of this jeans.

I don't think I can make them work post-soak.
Kiya has offered to let me exchange them for store credit. I was hoping they'd have a size 29 lying around in one of their stores but they have completely sold out…
But I have to say, this denim is one of the most interesting denim I've ever seen and touched. And the details on the top block are really cool.
I really wish they had a 29...If anyone has a brand new or near brand new pair of SEXFHXRR10 in size 29 please PM me. I'd be more than happy to take them from you!

@grandmasterben those 3005 are looking nice. I'm assuming you've gotten all the shrink out of them. Would you mind measuring the inseam length on yours? Thanks!

Thanks @jeef! These were hemmed before I got them, but max shrink on inseam from hot washes will be 32.5"

From what I understand the exceed denim (100x) is similar, shrinks less, and has a longer inseam. Check out the 1001

I've noticed that they seem to be somewhat particular about their clothes.
That cafe racer is easily best in show for me among some gems and an RJB shirt.

Hilights were for sure meeting kobayashi and talking with kiya in real life finally, such a chill helpful guy. When I was walking up I saw kobayashi standing outside and I just thought "holy shit….it's him!!" I wish I learned a Japanese phrase to tell him how obsessed I am with his brand; hopefully he got the gist though when I asked him to sign both my flat heads!
One of flat heads staff also took a picture of kobayashi and I with a nice camera (Leica maybe?), hopefully that picture shows up, but I'm not holding my breath.
I got a pair of socks, which are hopefully in my car since I don't know where they are now! Also got an awesome rjb shot glass with that, and a banner signed by Kobayashi-San yet again, AND a little key fob and bandana. Overall, great time. Just wish more dudes from superfuture showed up, I didn't get to meet anybody!
If anyone is still interested in pics of the goodies let me know and i'll get 'em up when I have the chance!

Congrats, Ben. I'm sure the party was a blast, especially considering you're such a big fan of the brand.
I'm pretty disappointed that I am currently out-of-state, and couldn't make the event. Their sizing typically doesn't work for me, but I appreciate their quality and unique style.
