I agree. Also, in my experience, if you think a shirt is too big you're not going to wear it. And the sleeve length will probably only change a little if anything… Cool you found a 17 so fast!
-
Sleeves can be a bit short before they start looking ridiculous IMO. I hope your new one fits you and your old one fits me, this is a grail item for me.

Chiba, the measurements on P&L are good: http://panchoandlefty.se/product/freewheelers-1920-us-navy-cpo-shirt/

Oh, I'm 6'2, 175lbs, 40 chest, I wear size 32 or 33 pants with 34.5-35" inseam.

I'm a 42R, measurements seem to check out but we will know soon.

17 is inbound. Fuji, the shop owner at the Wild One Japan (http://www.thewildone.jp) came through.
-
That does look like something I could lust over.

Got the CPO from @veloaudio (thanks much man!) Definitely larger than I thought it'd be. The shoulders fit perfectly, body is a little roomy and a little lengthy, and the sleeves (which were stated to be the correct length for me on sites I looked at) are a bit long. Still keeping it Pics to come.
-
Hmm, glad you like it. Sorry it fits bigger than you expected. How about the fabric? Thoughts?
-
I'm completely in love with the shirt! The fabric is amazing, buttons, construction, etc all on point. I'm wearing it with pride tonight!

@Chiba: Davito, yes it is (British Millerain Co. Ltd. Traditional Waxed Fabric) That is a link I should not have clicked. Damn, there is some seriously good looking gear in there. Must resist the urge to buy wildly inappropriate jackets…
