I know this post is pointless without pictures. But just started wearing color 8 cap toe boots. They have an alden commando sole, which in my view is way more subtle compared the trickers variety which creates a very different silhouette. Will post pics later.

If I take a Uk 9 in red wing Beckmann and moc toes and a Uk 10 in converse, would a Uk 9.5 in Aldens on the Barrie last be too big?

I find them to be super slippery but that's just me. Looks like nice work though.

Everything is better than the smooth leather double lock soles they came with. Dress leather soles wear too fast on me also!

Finally had the time to give my Indy boots a good coat of obenaufs. They still look damn good after 2 years of fairly steady wear.
