I'd like to hear your thoughts on the MacGregor Antifreeze if they have it. That is one costly (though classic) windbreaker.

^  I tried that one on last time I was in Japan.  Had to size up one IIRC.  Looked pretty cool but it was hard to justify the price tag considering it was made entirely from artificial fibres.

Also, Made in the US of A. Nothing against that, but I didn't realize that RMC has USA production?

Yeah. I expect this to be a licensing issue or a double tariff or something. This is made by the original maker, RMC doesn't own the production. Which doubtless inflates the cost a lot b

The new items that really stood out for me were….

The white dobby stripe and indigo wabash bib shirts with band collars.

And the three piece (four piece if you include matching casquette) linen suits in white and in over-dyed black.

Finally got some RMC gear in my wardrobe.

USN deck sweater, N-1 Undershirt and Fisherman's Rib Knit Cap (the USN chambray is also a new acquisition, but from Warehouse, the RMC chambray just didn't quite fit me and my non-Asian body)

Thx Davito. I don't find the sweater to be itchy at all. The wool cap is a bit itchy, but the sweater almost doesn't even feel like wool to me, well except for the great weight and warmth….

I wear a small in the heavy ballpark crewneck and heavy Ballpark zipup and small in IH heavy flannels. I ordered my usual small in this one. Will see how it turns out when it arrives.

So would you suggest I wear XL then? I remember my IH sweatshirt always felt too big in XL but then again it wasn't double faced….

I dont like too oversized tops except an overshirt sometimes. Like you i like a trim fit.
Lewis from superdenim suggested me to stay in my usual size i wear in JMC Ballpark sweats, he does the same. I have no experience with larger sizes especially mccoy sizing is sometimes a bit tricky but i think in this sweat shouldnt be a prob. i can tell more when it arrives during next week and will report back @SepticSef
Did you compare the sizing chart with your current tops ie a comparable sweatshirt you own?
Lewis further informed me that no shrinkage is to be expected. Well i still think you'll get a bit but not that significant (depending how you wash). maybe a bit in length but overall it will stretch out again if needed. This is what i experienced with my crewneck after i washed it twice so far. We will see what happens with the double face.

On another note these guys do come short and prob just hit your waistline depending how you wear your pants and which size you choose. I go vintage style, short cut, like they were worn back then

Would you say the superdenim measurements are accurate?

@Max Power I buy usually most mccoy stuff at VMC and if i buy online i go from the size i am used to wear in certain items and send an Email - in this case to Lewis - to ask how it compares to the fit I wear in another mccoys top. I think the measurements on the sweats are ok there and also correspond with the ones at BiG as far as i see. I will see how the double face fits when it arrives.

For example the heavyweight Ballpark joe mccoy crewneck fits tts imho, in RMC Military sweats size up from your usual size as they come slimmer
