If I were to buy another pair I would not get natural cxl. I'm not keen on this leather. It scrapes and scuffs too easily and is not a great choice for riding a motorcycle.

I agree with you. Pretty much all CXL easily scratches. But if you shine them regularly, which I'm assuming you did, the y age beautifully. I've had two pairs of boots with Natty CXL and it can age badly if you don't take care of it.

Nope never shined them… Not that I can relax all. Do you use neutral wax or tan or what?
I have treated them with obenaufs fairly regularly because they have a pretty hard life. They also have had a few coats of Saphir renovateur

Those are very nice.  What's your care regimen for them?

They're what I would consider a perfect example of how proper care makes a pair better looking as they age.

Was prepared to go the "Obenaufs route" when I bought them. A forum member gave me advice that Obenaufs might soften the leather quite a bit and can make it dull. While I don´t know if that´s true the regular shoe cream has worked pretty good.

Ditto on the boots @aho - really nice.  what exactly makes them a "hunter"?  They "look like" plain toe SJs with the honey vibram 100 sole.  Love the honey vibram sole btw - that was a great touch - you don't see it much!

P.S. is it celastic or natural toe?  hard to tell from pics.

If I ever get around to ordering another pair of White's, I think they'll be in the Red Dog leather.  I really like that color.
