Put 350 miles riding to Manhattan and back today to go to Self Edge… the battery on the bike decided today was the day to die so I got to push start the bike in Manhattan, ya know, you really haven't lived until you get to do that a couple times.

Shit that sucks, glad you made it home safely. Did you buy anything from SE to make the trip worth it?

Here's my scrambler, 2006 British made carb version. Going to do a few mods over winter. Some new signals and rear light, shorter mudguard, mirrors, maybe a new seat… nothing extreme.
Yeah it is slow and heavy but pretty.

Edit: this was when I picked it up… the fly screen is long gone.

It was/is office decoration. The points rusted and it would not start, that has been fixed and it is in the process of getting an MOT. They I need to get a licence but don't want to take it on the XT….
