The R is reckoned to be a better road bike than the big GS. But I'm horribly biased.

Put 350 miles riding to Manhattan and back today to go to Self Edge… the battery on the bike decided today was the day to die so I got to push start the bike in Manhattan, ya know, you really haven't lived until you get to do that a couple times.

Here's my scrambler, 2006 British made carb version. Going to do a few mods over winter. Some new signals and rear light, shorter mudguard, mirrors, maybe a new seat… nothing extreme.
Yeah it is slow and heavy but pretty.

Edit: this was when I picked it up… the fly screen is long gone.
