I got a XL inbound just to double check I got the right size. XXL feels good on shoulders and chest just a little roomy in the body.

I think that I'm a little more stoutly built than you dude, plus I want to wear it as an overshirt through the colder months.

Same here - looks like these were indeed cut to be worn as shirts anyways, as Paula said previously. From here, the XL looks spot on on you!

Personally, I think it depends how you're going to wear it. I went for the comfort of wearing it as a jacket.

I will say (not that it needs saying of anything Iron Heart produces) that it is superb. Warm, comfortable and built like a tank.
