at the request of Seul, here are my Wesco's after a month or maybe more now of wear. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes/boots I've ever owned…ever.

I have this (almost) exact pair except for the fact that they pulls instead of a top buckle.  These are my typical day to day boots that I wear just about everywhere, one of the best footwear purchases I've ever made!

I was able to pick them up on the Factory Seconds page so the best part of all was that they were only $300.

Love them mega. That is exactly the kinda thing I want for a boot. I know the sole doesn't get much love here but I think it brings the boot into the modern world. No way could I wear a typical wesco boot sole with the big heel down the pub or to work on a daily basis. People would be asking me where my horse was!

Are both of those makeups the standard Boss last?  I wonder what it would look like with the black wedge sole???

Correction, I basically have that exact build.  My one recommendation would be to get some sort of lining if you order a pair.  With the roughout leather, they are rather soft and pliable so they have a tendency to slouch a bit.
