@summ3rhays how many marathons have you done this year? I've lost count. How are you feeling/doing with them? Getting stronger/faster over all? Keeping about the same? Interested in the mental game. Congrats for clocking up another one!
Thanks @Snowy! This is my second full and I've done a handful of half marathons. I'm getting faster, but just barely. I was a little injured going into this one.
It was my 14th full marathon overall. The mental part is not an issue for me anymore. In fact it may hurt me as I don't train as much as I should because I know that I can do it. I should have trained more this time because I'm hurting like no other today.

I have the same problem, albeit with much shorter distances. Fear of collapsing due to inadequate training is a hell of a motivator.

@trail and arrow I used my Dawson Denim apron for some not-so-serious chilli cooking today.
It came out well, my sister disposed of half a bottle of unused chocolate porter, and wasn't really that fierce. I know, I'm an amateur.
