    Same here. Should be rather a 42 chest (my shirts need 44) and I wear L in that vest as well.

                    Has anybody removed a patch from this vest and can share experience regarding marks? I'm tempted to add one, but don't want to risk damaging the fabric. (I know how tough this denim is, still if you sew a huge backpatch on with a machine, it might leave visible marks…)

                      It may.  I'd hand stitch it my self…

                        You don't know how untalented I am…but thanks for the advice. Might not risk it then - I fear the edges might fray if not sewn by machine.

                          A tailor added some patches so badly, I put em off at home. The vest did not care.

                          Les Paul -> ProCo Rat -> Super HardOn -> JCM800 Low Input

                            I took a patch off too, that was machine sewn on, and my vest also didn't care. You can't tell where it was.
