IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

Well, here we go: first post!

Just got my first Iron Heart and start to break them in from today on. Will post the progress on a regular basis.
First steps:

• ordered under the advice of Giles a pair of 666-S (size 35) and 555-01 (34)
• received the package two days later. Great service for a shipping form the UK to Cologne, Germany
• fitting test: both denims fit perfectly, keeping in mind that the 666 needs a pre-soak
• soaking the 666 for about an hour at 40-50 degrees and letting it dry hanging
• next fitting test: the 666 fits just fine but could need some extra shrinking as I expect it to stretch during the next weeks
• breaking them in, feeling good

So is it safe to say that all dimensions except knee down will stretch back charted size after soak?

Only the horizontal measurements and only if there is sufficient pressure.  Rise won't stretch back and nor will thigh if there is no pressure…G

Thanx! Yeah, it is an Eames Chair plus Ottoman and for me it is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture ever designed. My favourite place in my apartment.
As for the 666-S: I gave it a second soak with a little higher temperature (45 degress, it was nearly impossible to reach a higher temperature in my bathtub) for only 30 minutes and it worked quite well and fits my 4.5 year-old Iron Rangers pretty perfect. The next months this little devil needs to live without any water to fade like hell

Just got my first pair of these. I've avoided this cut for awhile now but liking it thus far. The smaller leg opening doesn't work with some of my footwear but I guess that's why we all own multiple pairs in different cuts

Nice pick up Brooks, a pair of 666 is definitely on my agenda, I want to drop a few pounds first though to avoid "muffin top"
