Absolutely. Dunno why but IH cord is criminally under-appreciated IMO.
I wish I hadn't missed out on the type III but luckily bought the 634 cord, one of top 3 non denim pants since I got it more than a year ago. Superb feel, fit and yes EVO too..

Just like anything else IH - inside out at 30C.  Gentle spin, hang to dry.

With a strong washing line or drying rack. I can't imagine how heavy that jacket will be when wet.

It's just not that simple.  Virtually every fabric we use is made from first principles.  That means for a fabric like this double weave cord, we need to make 1200 meters, that is a shit load of jackets…......
