Probably my next IH purchase. I love my MF khakis but I want something really substantial for winter.

My size 34 arrived today.  Machine washed inside out warm with cold rinse.  Medium heat tumble dry.  Did not see any appreciative shrinking in waist or length after the wash/dry.

Similar fit size wise to 634.  Love the button fly and the coin pocket detail.  These will be my new client site pants when I can't wear jeans.

Any chance of a restock of the 34"? I already bought a pair (they're really top notch) but a backup is always nice!

Also is there any probability that these will be released in a navy/dark blue? That would cover all my chino bases!

These were made especially for me, so there are none in Japan.  If these sell well enough, I will rerun….....No plans for a navy blue version........Take a look at the 816.....

So got my Chinos yesterday (thanks Giles). Had them shortened to 31 inches, really a 30 inch leg, trying to take into account for any inseam shrinkage. Reading above post, they didn't shrink in the wash. When I get around to washing them, how is the best way to get them to shrink in the inseam, or will they stay at 31 inches?

Wash them at 40C, if that does not work, crank it up to 60C….

The 816 are even better in my opinion.. The weight of the duck brings out the excellence of the cut even more. One year in and I still get compliments on my navy in the office. Can't recommend them enough….............

Acquired a pair of 34s, and I absolutely love these.  Admittedly, more of a straight-leg rather than a tapered-leg guy, and it's hard to find true straight-leg chinos.  These are button fly to boot.  Wonderful fit and fabric.

Hurry up and snatch up the rest of these, so G will re-run.  Would love to see in another color (black, etc).
