I have been looking for a high quality slimmer profile wallet, since I am not into the whole giant wallet thing. And, I found this hand-sewn, US sourced leather, Japanese indigo plaid fabric lined wallet. The leather is vegetable tanned and dyed black using iron and vinegar.
It's from Barrett Alley USA.
I just ordered one and am pretty stoked to get it. I though a few of you would enjoy this.

The plaid indigo liner pretty much sold the wallet for me.

I have of Barrett's cordovan wallets from a few years back. It is very well made, and just a great simple design. Pics to follow.

I ended up going with a Thai indigo batik liner.

The wallet is perfect and the craftsmanship is flawless. This was exactly what I was looking for. I love the natural indigo liner, too

Looks very nice. I want to see if it leaves indigo on your money. That would be awesome.
I think the fabric is over a 100 years old. So perhaps it will be colorfast? I will keep you posted.
