edit - black one verging on vile (I'm still drinking it though!)

edit I spoke too soon, and that watered the lawn (not that it needed it)

Back to g'n't to remove the horrible taste.

A stout made with chilis, aged in cognac barrels. Why I'm drinking this now I don't know. Have a cold. Taste and smell at about 40% capacity

Great colour - cognac and calvados seem to create the best colour shifts in beers…

Don't taste the chilis as much as I did in the regular version but that could be the cold. Will need to revisit when all senses are working properly...

Nice! Dead guy is a classic IMO. I really like the Dogfish head too. The 90 min is good and the 60 min IPA is stellar.

A week in the heat of Barcelona rekindled my love of lager. I spent most of the week sinking endless amounts of the local brew Estrella which is excellent, and at 47p a can was a welcome beverage on the balcony in the hot evenings.
