Thanks guys, it's a weird thing but I go all day at work every day without even thinking about smoking. This tells me that my smoking is a psychological dependence, which is easier to deal with for me.

Quit day is today, I will read this thread for inspiration, decision is made.

Gav, I smoked a pack a day for 10 years. I've also quit a thousand times…it's easy!
The only way that worked for me was to quit cold turkey and never touch nicotine again. No cigars, no ecigs, no hookah, no social smoking even one cigarette. I've been nicotine free for 4 years now and it gets easier and easier every day.
You can do it! If you need any pointers, let me know.

Trying to better ones self can be a nightmare when your problems are spurred on by someone. Even more so when you're permanently attached. Letting go of it becomes nearly impossible with every dig they take, but you have to, and yet don't know how. While I haven't fallen completely backward, I find myself stress smoking (keep at it Gav) even though I really hate it. I keep hearing this will get easier, but I lack the foresight.

A month after failing to quit smoking I'm quitting smoking again. It's been a good ride

Smoking was never difficult for me to quit. I smoked a pack day for years. One day I decided no more and that was it. Keep at it Mega your mind is stronger than you think.
