Nice measurements on this one. I was going to withhold from this denim but might be changing my mind…

Does the 2" shrink for the inseam stretch back out after time, or is it a done deal after a soak?

It's a done deal. The waist stretches out because of pressure from your belly, but unless you figure out some way of dangling from your jeans there's no tension there.

If you're worried about inseam then there's a little variation between pairs. I've got a pair of 1955s that started out with just over 37" to give me a bit more headroom in case they shrank more than expected.

Yes,they are slimmer in the knee and hem,bcz the denim stretching it looks like there is more taper after some wear, but before soak its only 0.25" difference and 0.75 after soak and wear.Back rise stretched back to presoak after few hours of wear and some squads.Another thing to get them settle i had to wash them wear few hours and repeat 3 times to make the denim less stiff bcz they looked a bit ridiculous-huge in tighs,i thought that i should go for size 33 in 666-cut(and i might do that in the future).Anyway i love the fit now and the denim is awesome:)
