Damn, wish it would end up in my place in NY… G, if you need someone to look at it down south, I am heading to LA for a night on Wednesday. Let me know.

Well if you end up wanting to sell old one… Please look me up!

A bit late checking in here, but Giles, the second detail pic (back on Aug. 27) in the 'Fishing room' seems to show the drive belt a bit out of alignment. Perhaps it's been adjusted since then? Hate to see it either fly off at speed or wear out prematurely–it may be a bitch to find one that size.

Beats, it tells me nothing, this is a voyage of self discovery!!!
1) The folder thingy is an optional extra
2) The one that I have has the compressed air option, which is a pain at the mo, as I don't have compressed air piping that fits the input on the machine table that distributes the compressed air to the places that it needs to get to.
3) I worked out that I can bipass the compressed air option (if I want to) and re-engineer so that the 2 functions that the compressed air automates will then be manual. I worked this out by looking at photos of Harakis machine which does not have the compressed air upgrade.
4) Once I have solved the compressed air issues, I can then see more clearly what adjuster does what and then work out how (it it is possible at all) to change the width of the folded part.G

Looking good! Straight line, even hem, spacing just right. It gives one a sense of satisfaction to conquer the soul of a new machine and subjugate it to one's will. I used to characterize my staff as "grown men vs. office machines"–especially those running Windows Vista.
