Any sizing advice for M65 field jackets?  I'm 5'10"-11", about 160 lbs, slim with a 39" chest.  I'd like it to be relatively fitted, but also layer with knits or an insulator jacket in the winter months.  Measurements I've seen on Blue in Green, Superdenim, and Inventory are inconsistent.  Does anyone have this jacket (perhaps with similar proportions) and can speak to how it fits?

Brattman - I wouldn't normally direct people to other forums but you haven't had an answer here so… Double 00 Soul on Denimbro has the RMC M-65 and from memory is a similar build to you. Check out his posts in the McCoy's thread over there and also his older Sufu content. Hope that helps.

Are Blue in Green's measurements typically quite accurate?  There's significant disparity between their measurements and Superdenim & Inventory.

Thanks SM.  I initially thought that these boots would look better if they had a lower toe profile but I changed my mind.  I find these boots super comfortable to wear and the cardigan the same.

I don't have White's or Vibergs so I couldn't compare to those brands.  I'm an 8D in these and usually an 8D in RW, if that helps?

its a lovely jacket.  the tiger stripe doesn't show through at all at this point but i'm looking forward to some wear and tear showing up the detail.  great transitional jacket it will see a lot of action in autumn as its a wee bit to hot for it in london at the moment.

i have a pair incoming.  i understand if you are a size 8 in the UK you should be taking a US size 8 in the boondockers.  superdenim have a statement to that effect on their website and i was advised by vintage paradise that they are 'true to size'.  US width fitting D.
