Purchased a newsboy cap from this site several years ago and it’s really nice… hand spun, hand woven, all traditionally made by an excellent (some say legendary) craftsman, etc…

This is the most uncomfortable hat I've ever worn! It's a traditional, hard shell bowler that hasn't been conformed to my head, so it's short front-to-back and digging in.

It's from Patey Hats, the only people who still make them that way. And I'll have to take @Trail and Arrow there hat-shopping next time he's in London.

My new lid from Ideal Cap Co, big thanks to RBG for the tip on a great quality cap.

Continuing with my theme of finding weird hats that @trail and arrow wouldn't steal off me, here's a deerstalker, which was favoured by Sherlock Holmes. (Actually he didn't wear it in the original stories, but it became associated with him in illustrations from the period, and hence a part of his image.)

Megatron1505, did Ideal Cap Co send it to the UK for you, or did someone help you out?

Oh, I see… A watch cap, New England outerwear used to make a nice looking 40’s-60’s military spec watch cap, but they don’t have any in stock at the moment.
So maybe one of these:

Anonymous Ism uses great materials. Also if anyone is interested, hit me up and I can do something special and MTO. Would even trade for something…

see what you mean about sizing.. best way to go than is to measure your head and go by inches IMO.
