I have someone in Australia who is wanting to purchase my himel and has offered to include extra for the shipping. I figure snowman might have experience but any other advice is welcome as well. What I was wondering is what is the best shipping service to use for this? The person has asked for three day priority through USPS, but I have my reservations as I have had nightmare experiences with them on international orders in the past

My advice is don't touch USPS.  Send with Fedex, UPS, TNT or DHL.

Kind of what I was thinking, I just read that USPS international priority no longer gives confirmation either so I'm not protected by paypal… Pretty expensive item to roll the dice on

It will cost more but the peace of mind is worth it… IMO UPS is the way to go.

UPS is my standard when I ship, but I usually just try to stay in continental US. Gonna check with them today about costs and the other details

Sorry for delay, freaking work :|. I've never lost a package with USPS from SF to AU, but I've had a few damaged boxes. Fedex or UPS are both the gold standard IMO. USPS when it enters Australia becomes Australia post, those guys are just as bad (and can be just as good), point being they'll leave it on a door step unsigned even if it says signature required etc etc….

Just seen on another vendors site who are selling some Viberg copper task rough-out boots, that they are listing them as calf-skin, so two questions, are the IHVB-03CT calf-skin and are the IHVB-04-B-O-T the same?

I wore my 555-01s for the first time today and that bulgy thing on the pocket bags kept poking the side of my hips which was quite uncomfortable and slightly painful because it is very thick.

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do about it?

Keep wearing them.  As they break in, that area will mold to your body and stop being uncomfortable.  Probably wouldn't help much, but you could also wash them and then put them on while they're still a bit damp.  That might help speed up the break-in process.

Hi, new to the forum (and, it seems high end denim).
My question is regarding the facility to email enquiring about sizing.
I seem to have dimensions which are not "average" (are any of us average?)
Could I mail someone with my measurements and get some advice on the best fit for me, as well as sizing/shrinkage?
I'm not able to try any on befor I buy.

My previous foray into "premium" denim went badly when some supposedly "sanforized" jeans shrunk horrendously (in the length) leaving me £130 odd out of pocket!

You can ask us as many questions as you want with the exception of questions like this:

"I wear an L in a off Mongolian camel hair and alpaca vest I bought 65 years ago in a street market in Moscow, whay size will I be in Iron Heart"

But, in all honesty the best thing to do is what we suggest under the sizing tab:
Important: The best way to determine the size you need, is to measure a similar item you already own and compare with the actual sizing as per the table below. Do not go by tagsize alone.

To see how we measure click on the "How we Measure" tab (on every product page.

If you still have questions after doing this, then drop us an email.

If you are a first time customer, Matt will see this when you place your order and he will be cross examine you about how sure you are that you have ordered the correct size anyway.

Getting sizing wrong, pisses us off as much as it pisses you off.  We try to avoid it at all costs.
