I had a Chimay Blue last night that wasn't great. I was so puzzled and annoyed that I'm about to have 2 more to see if the batch is off.

I now know that grapes, honest and worthy and indeed essential though they may be, are not considered sufficiently exotic to gain a place in the wine-lover's lexicon."

My brother is currently standing in line to pre-order the new Perennial/Sump barrel-aged coffee stout collaboration. Two bottles of the regular barrel-aged coffee stout and one made with a Kyoto-brewed Rwandan coffee, along with a Sump Coffee Stout snifter. I'm pissing myself in anticipation.
