A lot of the time we don't even bother to clean up afterward. 😉

Personally, I like to leave threads alone and let the topics wander some.  Usually, we make it back to the original subject after a couple of pages and it's all good.  Like sabergirl says, that's how conversations work in real life, so I like it when threads flow naturally.  Besides, (my opinion only) when you start cleaning up stray stuff, you kill some of the character of the thread and it can feel sanitized and soulless.  Some of my favorite posts are from sidetracked threads.

I'm so glad Chris' new avatar won. I chuckle to myself still when I see it.

Exactly. I personally vibe off seeing how extreme and how 'far out' we can get on a tangent, it always swings. No limits YEAH! 🙂

While I don't prefer super-flat denim with no interesting texture, I can't get into some of the hyper-slubbed stuff some Japanese mills produce. I think it looks interesting, but it's not for me. I like texture, but I draw the line at "irregular denim corduroy."

Children should be kept at school, 24/7, 365/365, and most of them probably should be lashed, 24/7, 365/365. Pets should be forbidden. And I should be given authority over who gets to live and who doesn't… I'd need a half a dozen of tigers, some machetes, and an open grave the size of Mercurius, but I'd be up for it.

Oh: I just wanted to bump this thread...

Screw that, I'm going to take it one step further. Any male who cannot adequately use and maintain basic hand tools will undergo gender reassignment surgery

I'm not sure if this would be an unpopular opinion, but anyone who has the nerve to kick a dog at the dog park because they're "overwhelming" their dog should have their shoulders and hips dislocated and forced to slither home on their belly. Hasn't happened to my dog, but I've seen a fair number of overbearing pet parents do that at the park unnecessarily

Edit: the pet parent, not the dog

In some places you need a license to have a dog, but anyone with a prick or fanny (we use that word differently over here, it's why fanny packs are hilarious) can participate in making children with absolutely no regard as to whether they have the means, will and intelligence to turn these sprogs into adults….go figure.

In other news I am totally abandoning short sleeved button up shirts this year in favour of tees. SS shirts are just a little too "Mormon" for my taste.

They always make me think of the guys who repaired the copiers in our office.

And Mormon missionaries.  In fairness, I've known many Mormons, and they are invariably genuinely thoughtful, kind people, and the guys seemed to hate the SS white dress shirts passionately.  Probably from being forced to wear them every day for two years straight.
