WESCO

Honest opinion….
- They'll last forever.
- They will be complete indestructible.
- They're boring as fuck.
-
Don't buy them unless you really, truly love them. Because they're going to last forever, and frankly, they're pretty damn ugly. Semi lace to toe is Wesco's worst looking option and the steel toe makes them really bulbous in profile.
-
Thanks guys for talking me out of them. They're a steal, have been ordered by some dude that didn't pick them up at the store. But the more I think about them and look at the picture, the more I'm willing to let them go.
At the moment I'm happy with my Highliners and adding a pair of engineers to the collection makes much more sense.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

He saw them on the counter when he walked in, did a U turn and is still walking….

What's wrong with semi lace to toes? I think it can look really sharp on a 6" or 7" boot
-
Nothing wrong. I think these are just too bulky with the steel toe. Anyway, they would make a great boot for going to festivals or riding bike.
-
Correct. But unfortunately none in my size. Snatched their last pair of Highline in redwood a few days ago.
But because of their more than nice pricing (especially compared to Germany), I thought of another pair.
Well, next time. -

Got a ship note from Bakers on saturday. Very happy that the wait was only 8 weeks instead of the quoted 14! I hope they arrive this week but I'm not holding my breath.

Pretty cool! Not great as far as cowboy boots go (I'd never opt for Wesco for a proper riding boot)… but this particular last when translated onto a work boot I think is perfect.
Oh... it just occurred to me you are referring to the "free shipping" thing... not bad either...

Yep… its time for a cowboy boot renaissance.
