Watches - another OCD problem

Oooh looks good! What colours did you go with in the end?

Cutlasshound, nice strap! The watch isn't too shabby either.

Giles, I'm looking forward to seeing how the Pinion turns out. I like the design of the watch, particularly as my tastes are running more towards the simple these days. (And I note that it doesn't have a three day date cut-out to confuse Cartier wearers.
)If anyone is looking to spend far too much on a strap, Equus Leather make a few, but they're expensive. I haven't seen one close up, but I got one of their belts for my father for Christmas, and it's lovely.

Cheers guys! That strap looks pretty damn sweet… May have to check them out :-).

Looks nice Graeme, but I love the gilt dial on mine. It was one of the details that drew me to the watch.

Agree with Anesthetist - this one doesn't quite have the same magic as the OG with the red bezel and dark brown face. I still have plans to pick up that one by the end of the year.
-
Also agree, the combination of red bezel and gilt dial is the reason I'll be getting the original later this year too. This version with midnight bezel with the white dial is a simple and understated look, but a different character to the original…...but I could see a need for both

-
Still a lot prettier than the Pelagos too… (though I understand that is more of a functional dive watch)
-
You guys won't be disappointed with the original BB, it is quite the watch for the money!
-
That being said, I do quite like the Pelagos too!
