I'm looking to trade/sell my fairly new raw busters size 30 and hemmed to 33 at SESF about 2 months ago.
I soaked them twice (to max the shrinkage). They have been worn off/on and have very minimal fading.

Great jeans, but the calves flare too much for my liking. I'd be interested in trading for a 666 or 666od would be even better. If anyones interested PM me!

        Thanks.

Hi everybody, i'm a newbie in IH denim and especially in the sizing.
I would like to buy IHxB01xRAW but i don't know what size i have to take.

          I hesitate between 30 and 31.
I am wearing Edwin ED-71 raw selvage size 31", denim APC new standard size 31", LVC 1967 505 size 31".

Should i take the same size or one size down. I like to wear my denim with no washing and i know sometimes it's hard to wear the raw denim during the first week to have a good fit after many wearings.

Thank you very for your help.

I wear 29 on most jeans but I wear 30 for the Busters. If they're loose you can give them a hot soak.

Best guess is 6 weeks or so

A couple of update pics post hemming.  After a few weeks I started to find the double cuffs a little troublesome but still wanted to be able to single cuff so didn't end up taking more than a couple of inches off the length.

Apologies for the dusty bedroom mirror!

Thanks guys.  Really love the cut of the BB and the raw, slubby denim is a treat.

I feel like G should rename this thread in my honour…  Anyhoo, some update pics a couple of months down the track...  Evo is actually more noticeable in person.  These pics are too dark to really pick it up.

Congrats! Enjoy the journey. You might want to put them through the gentle cycle in your washing machine though, you'll get all the shrinkage out of the way now and avoid a potentially unpleasant surprise a few months down the road.

These fade so fast… Despite "my" pair being washed a ton before by my dad, they still create fades like crazy...

Need a pair in a size 32... If anyone has one...

We have taken delivery of a new batch of these.

We have treated the denim to a new process which we call dry-sanforisation.  This helps fix some of the instability which is inherent in a raw denim, but does not change the appearance of the face of the fabric.

We will measure and put up in the webshop tomorrow.

If you cant wait, drop me a PM…...

So is it now basically a sanforized denim? The shrinkage ~ 3% shouldn't differ much from other sanforized, but non-washed denims.

Well, we could have a semantic discussion about this.

If, I had not told you what we had done you would not believe that it was not loomstate.  I did not, when Haraki showed it to me in Japan

Sanforisation uses water, our process does not.  So technically it is not sanforised and looks like loomstate.

Call it what you want, I'm calling it raw  😃 :D.
