So this may not seem like that a big of a deal, but here goes…

This is a picture of the Oxblood Cordovan wallet that I have (which continues to amaze me more and more every time I use it). 
Notice the quarter that is used as a reign attachment and how it sticks straight up...

Since the first day I got it, I've tried to make the quarter lay flat but is has been impossible!  No matter how much tugging and pulling on it (the quarter that is) I did, it stayed stick straight.
Then I saw this picture of Haraki's and viola…perfectly flat.

How did he do it??!!  It has been keeping me up at night practically.
Then today I was pulling out my wallet to pay for something and bam!…

No idea when or how it happened, but it finally did.  Might not sound too crazy, but after months of being convinced it couldn't be done, it was pretty sweet…

glad to hear about your little victory with that Quarter  seems like we all have an incredible "problem" with attention to detail, which eventually leads us all to IH.

has your wallets inerds changed color at all or has the natural stayed natural???

Yea, I think I want that more than the natural half calf now.

Other than the outer being Cordovan, the other difference is that the Cordovan has a coin pocket, the calf does not.  G

On the black cordovan short wallet, is the inside also cordovan or calf (like the red) but stained black?

That is a thing of beauty.  I've got the long version, and that oxblood cordovan is the most beautiful material you can imagine.  I find myself sitting around just mindlessly handling the wallet sometimes.

I also love the sneak attack on this one.  Some IH stuff gets months and months of build up and hype, and then sometimes you just get hit over the head out of nowhere…nice surprise G.

I also really like the way that the tendon stitching picks up the indigo but not the cordovan.
