        Hey Haddtoo,

How did you manage stretching the thighs? Just from wear?

The thighs on drastically downsized 666XHS must be brutal.

People think that we know the post shrink/stretch measurements for every pair of jeans that have ever been made.  Unfortunately we don't. And if we guess and get it wrong, we all end up being disappointed.  So this is why we did this:

Thighs were the worst thing about getting them wet. I just put them on damp, if I waited till dry, forget about it. I'll be able to soak the 32's without worry.

              madmonday's retired….I'm just tired.

Been wearing my IH-666-XHS's for a couple of days so far.  I've gotta say I have massive respect for this denim.  It's been biting me on my hips, thighs and backs of the knees a bit, I will admit.  I'm sure once they're broken in that they will be super awesome.

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, and I know that they will stretch out over time naturally with use, but I was curious if any of you XHS veterans can give me any specific suggestions or strategies on how to stretch the front and back pockets a bit.  I can feel the waist stretching already, but the pockets are super tight.  Is there anything you do to the pockets to help speed up the process and make them looser?

                Cheers

Put whatever you normally carry in them and start squatting. They do start to give within a week or so, and you'll notice a bit more room over time. Across my hips at pockets were where mine bit worst anyway.

                    Hey aztecraws,

I definitely know where you are coming from. I couldn't get my wallet out of my back pocket without using two hands for the first few weeks.  My girl would just shake her head at me in disapproval as I battled my pockets for possession of my wallet. It was a struggle.

Like jdl says though, just do what you normally do and wait it out. They'll give in eventually.

That denim is really one-of-a-kind, though. Enjoy!

If there was only a way to put my PayPal account in a pocket. Then I could really save some money.

Gure,  I'd go with the 33, they'll be a little painful to start with but should end up just right…..That is, if you did measure them like this:

I just picked up a pair of these as well. Since this winter doesn't want to end, I should still have a good month or two to do some work on them. Should I give them a good soak first? They're pretty damn stiff.

You could, but no need to soak… They will just tighten up a bit, the starch will wane and leave a ring in the tub...part of the fun !    IMO
